dining area & bar

The dining area is in the main lodge. It has a roof with ceiling fans and is open on the sides. On the outisde, hummingbirds feed on ornamental heliconias, allowing for birdwatching during meals. The self-service bar is connected to the main lodge and close to the swimming pool.

There is no music at the lodge, the only sounds come from the nearby ocean and tropical rainforest.

meals

The kitchen staff prepare both traditional Costa Rican and western dishes. Vegetarian diets or other special dietary requirements are easily accommodated. All food is produced locally. Fresh fish from the Pacific Ocean is bought only from small-scale fishermen.

Freshly made tropical fruit juice from the organic orchard are offered with the meals and throughout the day.

coffee & tea

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate milk, tropical fruit juice and filtered water are available at the main lodge, free of charge.
