The direct charter flight from San José to Tiskita's private airstrip takes approximately an hour and 15 minutes. It offers splendid views of the central valley, the central valley mountain range, the Pacific coastline, the Osa Peninsula, the Golfo Dulce and Tiskita.

drive to tiskita

The drive from San José to Tiskita takes approximately eight hours, from Dominical to Tiskita approximately three and a half hours, from Uvita and Wilson Botanical Gardens (San Vito) to Tiskita approximately three hours. It is a great way to see the country.

Tiskita provides driving directions and most car rental agencies now have GPS systems available.

public bus

The bus ride from San José to Golfito takes approximately seven hours. From Golfito, the bus ride to Tiskita takes approximately three hours. The bus driver can stop at Tiskita's entrance gate. It is a great way (for the experienced traveller) to see the country and travel with the locals. A one-way ticket cost about 15 US dollars.
